LiteSteel beam was developed in response to demand for a light structural beam with the strength of steel and the ease of use afforded by traditional lumber. More than six years of research, development and testing went into the creation of the current LSB shape. We are currently seeking building code certification in the US.

The innovative cold forming manufacturing process gives LSB a unique profile with a flat, thin web and two hollow flanges. It is made from a single strip of G60 galvenized steel using patented forming processes and welding technologies. This process provides maximum structural performance in terms of load carrying capacity, bending moment and deflection from the amount of steel employed. The unique profile gives the torsional rigidity you would normally expect from hot rolled steel sections.
